Corporate tax (Hun. abb. ‘TAO’) audit

It is important to know that, in the case of investments targeting energy efficiency, you can apply for corporate tax credit that might as well be up to 70% of the whole corporate tax.

The so-called ‘TAO’ audits will assess energy efficiency projects, and calculations are made as regards the return of the planned investment, and full pre and post audits and reports are prepared in connection with such investments. Finally, the results of the ‘TAO’ audits are reported to the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority (Hun. abb. ‘MEKH’) and the necessary ‘TAO’ certificate is issued.
